About Analytics & Data

Step inside Analytics & Data and you will find the tools that tell a business what is really going on: who walks through the door, what they pick up, what they leave behind. Think of it as the back office of the high street, where the till roll gets turned into decisions. Each listing is a product or business that gathers, moves, reads or asks for information.

Here you can browse four aisles: product analytics, business intelligence, data pipelines and ETL, and surveys and research. Use the filters to narrow by what you need, and sort by community votes when you want to see what other visitors rate. By default the newest listings sit at the front of the shop. Votes can never be bought, so the order you see from voting is earned. Each product sits in one main category, so the description on its page tells you what it is built for.

Analytics & Data: questions answered

What belongs in Analytics & Data?
Products and businesses whose main job is collecting, moving, analysing or asking for information. That covers behaviour tracking, reporting dashboards, data transfer tools and survey or research services. If the data work is only a small extra feature, a different main category will probably suit it better.
How do I choose between the subcategories?
Start with the question you want answered. Wondering how people use your product? Try product analytics. Need one view of the whole business? Look at business intelligence. Data stuck in separate places? Pipelines and ETL. Want opinions straight from customers? Surveys and research.
How do I get my product listed here?
Go to /submit and paste your website address. An AI drafts the profile from your site, then you check and edit every field before anything goes live. You choose one main category, included free. A paid upgrade adds more categories if your product crosses several aisles.
How are listings ordered on this page?
Newest listings appear first by default. Visitors can switch to sorting by community votes instead. Votes can never be bought, so a high vote position reflects what visitors actually liked, not what someone paid for.
What should I compare when choosing a data tool?
Check what it connects to, who on your team will actually use it, and how easily you can get your own data back out. Read each profile for plain descriptions of what the tool does, and compare how much set-up it expects from a small team.
