Nagi: the homepage
Nagi is a sleep and sound recording app designed for anyone concerned about snoring or nighttime noises. You start recording with one tap at bedtime and another in the morning. The app measures how many minutes your room was loud and plays back only the loudest moments so you can hear them yourself. It does not diagnose any condition, does not monitor you in real time, and never guesses whose sound belongs to whom. All records stay on your phone; only anonymous data like loud-minute counts travel to Nagi's servers. The basic recording features are free forever, with paid options to access a sound library and weather data.
Pricing model: Freemium
Free basic recording and playback. Paid plans: ¥380 a month, $4.99 a month, or prices shown in your store, for access to weather data and sound library.

Nagi records sound through the night using your phone's microphone. Only the loud stretches are stored; quiet periods are never kept. Audio recordings stay on your phone for 14 nights, then Nagi automatically deletes the oldest. Only numbers and data travel to Nagi's servers—the sound itself never leaves your device.
No. Nagi does not detect, screen for, or claim to find any condition, including sleep apnea. A night's record, however loud, is never a diagnosis. The recording and any comparison are general information only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
Nagi never guesses whose sound it was. In the morning, you can mark stretches as 'not me' if they belonged to the person beside you. The mark changes the numbers but never deletes the recording. There is also a setting for recording the person beside you.
Place your phone by the pillow at bedtime and tap once to start. You need to allow microphone access when you first set up the app. The phone should be plugged in with enough storage (about 10-30 MB per night). Recording continues with the screen off, and your alarm still works.
In the morning, you first answer how you felt, then see the numbers: how many minutes were loud, when it peaked, the three loudest moments in your own ears, and trends from your last 14 nights. You can hear the loudest stretches, mark them if needed, and share a record image with your doctor or partner.
