Verify you run the business and unlock the ability to edit your listing and display the Verified badge.

Claiming your listing
Find your business on Tavero Launch and open the listing. You'll see a "Claim" button—tap it to get started. Alternatively, go to /claim/<listing> directly.
Proving you're the owner
We'll ask you to prove you control the company's domain. Pick whichever method suits you best:
- Email verification: We send a secret link to an address at your domain. Click it and you're done.
- DNS record: Add a TXT record to your root domain's DNS settings.
- Meta tag: Place a meta tag on your homepage.
- Verification file: Upload a small file to your website.
Your verification code expires after 14 days. If it runs out, just start the process again.
What claiming gives you
Once verified, you become the owner of the listing. You can edit the details whenever you need to—opening hours, photos, description, the lot. You'll also earn the Verified badge, which tells visitors you genuinely run the business.
The Verified badge shows you control the domain. It's never for sale, and it's completely separate from paid features or customer votes. Votes cannot be bought, and the Verified badge doesn't change that.

- Do I need a website to claim my listing?
- You need to control the company's domain, which typically means you have a website or email there. If you don't have a website yet, you can use email verification or add a DNS record instead.
- Can someone else claim my listing?
- Only someone who can prove they control the company's domain can claim it. That's why we ask for domain verification—it keeps the listing secure.
- What if my verification code expires?
- Start the claiming process again from your listing page. You'll get a fresh code.
